So I’ve made a decision to publish all my apps as opensource and hope that the community can pick this up. Feel free to make pull request and ask me to include updated/new apps to my repository, I will be happy to host them.

As a result of this I will remove the below apps from my repo as they are currently broken or outdated:

- Southpark
- NU
- Grooveshark
- sabnzbd

For now I will try to keep my focus on bartsidee.tv and update possible broken modules.

I’m moving my website and repository to a dedicated hosted server, last night there was an error in the repo script which caused a flood request from all of the boxes to my server. I will try to fix it asap. Keep you posted.

We are back online, all services should work again. If you still have any issues with your box please try to restart the boxee box. If you experience any issues with your account, (because you have made changes or adjustments the last 24h) please contact me.

There are still some issues with the server configuration, some users where fetching configuration files with tremendous speed overloading my server. I have to optimize some of the code and services to make sure it will not happen again. Keep you posted. In the mean time, if you have already installed bartsideetv or any other apps you now should be able to continue to use them. Currently only the repository xml links are down.

Sorry for all the inconvenience, some scripts have been adjusted and repo is up and running again. Response time looks good, but you probably need another reboot of the box to force an update

Please enable the personal modules as usual.

I also included a fix for RTL as some shows where not showing up.

Fixes:
- RTL Gemist (larger history and fixed 7 may issue)
- Eredivisie
- Een
- Canvas
- Additional modules which are using a flash player should be fixed now

 

Other changes:
- removed chinaTV (the source was not reliable)
- removed navi-x (please use the navi-x app instead)

 

If you have still issues with a specific BartsideeTV module, please send me the details. I will try to make some time to look into it.

Last week I’ve put up a new mirror on github, within 5 days I’ve got over 350 download for only the windows version. So yes boxee, there are still a lot of users that prefer to run boxee on the PC!
